  4. After upgrading to 2.0.43 foxmarks is behaving wierd. when ever i open firefox, foxmarks status icon shows "Foxmarks has changes to synchronize". Then i synchronize it and the foxmarks status icon shows "Foxmarks is ready". Then i close my browser and reopen. Then again the status icon shows "Foxmarks has changes to synchronize".

Note : I have installed foxmarks on my home pc and office pc.
Nobody other than me uses my either pc. Foxmarks is behaving wierdly on both pc's. Tried to uninstall and reinstall foxmarks on both pc's, but no luck.

    Anybody having similar issue?

    I'm having the same problem!!!

Don't know what to do as well!. I have Foxmarks on 3 computers and I'm sure no one made changes to my bookmarks.

  6. I've the same problem as Sarang and Merlin.

In my opinion, you have to check Rss Tiker and sage.

  7. Awesome tool! I loaded on my PC and Mac and it's just what I've been looking for. I do use Firefox mainly on my PC...but use Safari on my MacBook since it's faster.

Where can I find instructions for loading Foxmarks for use with Safari?

    AWESOME TOOL!

    Thanks,
    Howard

  8. My only negative remark for foxmarks is that there is as of yet NO support for Firefox 3. Please guys, how soon can we be expecting a version that supports it?

    Thanks
    Garth

Ever hear about binary searching? You should be able to find out which addon it is fairly simply. Firstly disable half your addons, if it still happens then disable half the addons you left enabled (ie quarter of your original). As soon as the problem stops disable all addons except the group that you just disabled, and repeat the process with that group.

Of course this gets more complex if there are multiple addons causing the problem, and even worse when it only happens if 2 or more other addons are enabled. But it's certainly not that bad.

If only firefox allowed you to disable multiple addons quickly =(

  11. Another query about Firefox 3.0.

Little by little many of the more popular addons are becoming compatible, hopefully Foxmarks won't be far behind...

  12. @Sarang: Chances are good it's AdblockPlus causing the behavior. We're looking into ways to provide a manual fix for this in future releases, but at the moment we're focusing more on getting our Firefox 3 beta up and running--for now, feel free to disregard the yellow starburst Foxmarks icon or try disabling AdblockPlus to see if that makes the problem dissipate.

@Everyone clamoring for the Firefox 3-compatible Foxmarks extension: We're getting there, but it's not as easy a task as it is for many extensions, mainly due to the fact that Mozilla has completely rewritten the interface and storage behavior for bookmarks in Firefox 3. Thanks very much for cheering us on--we're almost there!

  13. @eric: You were right. I disabled AdblockPlus and Foxmarks behaved properly and then i enabled AdblockPlus and it still behaved properly.

seems that Foxmarks wants itself to be the first love for firefox ;)

  14. and you may delete my extension list to make the page scroll shorter.
