Mashable, one of the leading Web 2.0 news sites, just did a roundup of the
top 16 tools for managing passwords and placed Foxmarks at the very top of their list! We’re thrilled to see great sites like Mashable recommend our new password sync feature.
A growing number of our bookmark sync users have started using Foxmarks to sync their passwords too. Have you tried it yet? If not, give it a try and let us know what you think.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI couldn't help but notice that all the listings on that page are grouped by category and then alphabetized. So Foxmarks was listed by alphabet in the first category. Not one single application was ranked by popularity or awards or any other criteria.
Setting the record straight,

ReplyDeleteI love it. Thanks for such a great add-on for FREE!
ReplyDeleteI love this feature too. What I would like to see along with it is cookies, have an advanced setting to allow you to choose which cookies you would like share amongst your browsers. This is would be very helpful for those sites that use cookies to save your info.
ReplyDeleteCould include an option to clear cookies on exit too.
Foxmarks has become indispensable for organizing my life. Brilliant idea and system.
ReplyDeleteThe Passwords extension seems great, esp. coupled with Profiles.
Thanks for bringing to us!
Will try it out soon.
Hi team,
ReplyDeleteI am having an issue with foxmarks ever since i installed the version with password sync.
My current foxmarks version = 2.5.3
FireFox = 3.0.4
Whenever i visit a site for which i have stored passwords, the status bar icon for Foxmarks says "Foxmarks has changes to synchronise".
I had similar issues with earlier foxmarks versions which was resolved by making the DisableDirtyOnBatch true.
Is there any similar workaround for password sync?
