Updated Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Today we’ve updated the Xmarks Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We’ve done this for two reasons: to make our privacy policy more human readable and understandable, and to update our terms to encompass the new features we've added and new products we're planning to release. Examples of this include user-submitted site reviews and on-site advertising on Xmarks.com.

Most importantly, we clearly state in our Privacy Policy:

• We will never lease, rent, or sell your email address.
• We will never share your synchronized passwords.
• We only use your bookmark data in aggregate (culled from over 800 million bookmarks) to power our search and discovery features.
• We provide you a way to opt-out of contributing your bookmarks to our aggregation system.

Let us know if you have any questions, and watch this blog for some exciting new product news in the coming days.
